I am Jan Cadosch, a freelance action and outdoor photographer from Switzerland.

 

Born and raised in the Alps, nature has always been my playground: steep trails, high peaks, deep snow, and the endless interplay of light and movement.

What began as a passion, mountain biking, skiing, photography is now my profession: I accompany national and international sporting events, document athletes, and produce content for brands, media, and event organizers.

My focus is on action photography. For years, I have been an official photographer for the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, working with Olympic champions Dario Cologna and Nino Schulter, and accompanying freeskier Fabian Bösch for Red Bull. Leading brands such as On, Trek, Prada, and Atomic rely on my expertise.

My experience in sports gives me a feel for perfect timing. Moments, whether in a downhill race, a big air trick, or in an epic window of light on a mountain. I work with state-of-the-art technology and combine creativity with technical precision.

In addition to my work as a photographer, I regularly give workshops where I pass on my knowledge to motivated young photographers.
